Today’s not just any day—it’s the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola! And instead of the typical celebrations, how about we do what Ignatius himself might encourage: pause, reflect, and…take a quiz?
Yep. A Jesuit quiz.
Don’t worry, it’s not graded. (Unless you really want it to be.)
The truth is, this day reminds us why we do what we do. Because like Ignatius, we believe in the potential of people—students, alumni, donors, teammates—to change the world when they discern with purpose and lead with love.
So thanks for being part of this work. For being curious. For bringing joy. For living out cura personalis and walking with others in a spirit of generosity. There’s a little (actually, a lot of) Ignatius in that.
Special thanks to Ellen Maccarone, our VP of Mission Integration, for bringing this quiz onto our radar today…just one example of how she, her team and our incredible Jesuits guide us in our Mission at GU. As our Provincial, Sean Carroll SJ shared today “It is alive and active—in every teacher who inspires students to think deeply and act compassionately, in every Jesuit who accompanies the poor and the marginalized, and in every person who allows the Gospel to transform their heart.”
