Annual Impact Report 2024-25

The 2024–25 Annual Report for Íø±¬ÃÅ University’s Institute for Informatics and Applied Technology highlights its first year under the leadership of Jay Yang, Ph.D., reflecting a bold vision for interdisciplinary, Jesuit-inspired innovation in artificial intelligence and informatics.

Key accomplishments include new academic programs, integration of artificial intelligence outcomes into the University Core, the launch of ZagAI — a customized learning assistant — and collaborative research on responsible AI, visual cognition and leadership in technology adoption.

With nearly $1 million in gifts supporting research, a newly renovated space in the Herak Center and strategic partnerships across industry and education, the Institute is establishing Íø±¬ÃÅ as a national leader in ethical, human-centered technology education.
