Financing Your Education

There are several ways to finance your advanced nursing degree, including federal financial aid, employer reimbursements and scholarships. 

Tuition

  • MSN - Family Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
    • $1,170* per credit
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice - Post Baccalaureate or Post Master's
    • $1,170* per credit
  • Doctor of Nursing Anesthesia Practice 
    • $1,255* per credit

Financial Aid

  • Graduate and Doctoral student financial aid is not based on income
  • Eligible students can receive up to $20,500
  • Students must complete the  for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) annually to be eligible
  • Students must be admitted as a matriculated student in a graduate program in order to receive federal financial aid
  • Secure Current Grad PLUS Loan Benefits Before Federal Changes Take Effect 
    • take effect July 1, 2026, including the elimination of Grad PLUS Loans for new borrowers and reduced borrowing limits. If you start your graduate program in the 2025-2026 academic year*, submit a FAFSA, and borrow a Grad PLUS Loan, you’ll remain eligible under current borrowing limits, which - allows you to borrow up to your full cost of attendance. 
      *Includes terms: Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026

Employer Tuition Reimbursements

Many organizations offer tuition reimbursement programs. Please check with your benefits department for details. 

Payment Plans

You can work with the Student Accounts office to set up a payment plan for your tuition.
